The Laohuwei landslide is located in Lvshunkou District Dalian city. In2010-2012period, Because of the project construction and rainfall, many cracks appeared on the slopelandslide, and now the cracks has a tendency to expand. If not for treatment, the roads andbuildings will be danger at the bottom of the slope. In order to find out the formation mechanism of the landslide and research the stabilityof slopes, the article studies the natural geographic and geological structure features in thelocation of the landslide. By the geological investigation, indoor soil mechanic, and in situtests, the test data are analyzed. Combining with the actual situation, the strength parametersof the landslide will be back calculation, and design value of the parameter for the landslidewill be got.In this paper, using the limit equilibrium principle, the stability of the landslide will beanalyzed for the1-1’ and2-2’ geological section, and thus concludes: the landslide of1#is ina creep state and the Landslide of2#is under a state of development of peristalsis; Using thefinite element strength subtraction, the three dimensional model will be established byMidas/GTS, which is a big finite element system in the field of rock and soil and tunnel. Thelandslide will be divided into several small unit cell, and the mechanical characters of thewhole slope will be as these small unit cell synthesis and then mechanics equilibrium equationwill be established. In the process of modeling, We will consider a variety of factors influenceon the stability of the landslide, get the stress distribution of the slope and the maximum shearstrain, simulate the damage form of the whole landslide visually. Finally, this article in view of the landslide stability analysis and the field conditions, propose a landslide treatment scheme and the purpose is to minimize risk of landslide.
