Primary Bauxite is concealed mineral deposit of Pingguo mining areas, as the primary ore showed good development prospects, researchers pay more and more attention to it. For a long time, researchers just through the view of macro point to study the metallogenic environment, while the study of the sedimentary facies mine environmental is unclear. This article through the study of the characteristics of primary bauxite in different mining areas and ore geochemical elements, ore micro-geochemical element distribution, combined with the characteristics of orebody’spatial distribution, trying to restore mine sedimentary microfacies environment, thus, finging out the relationship of deposits’spatial distribution, and achieveing a breakthrough of the spatial distribution in Pingguo bauxite. The main work and progress are as follows:1.Through the wild field observations, studying the characteristics of the distribution of Pingguo bauxite and the spatial distribution of orebody, pointing out this distribution was caused by the regional sedimentary environment.2.Studying ore characteristics, analysising ore types and summing up the ore variation characteristics of the seam profiles in each region, furthermore, analysising their environmental significance.3.Through analyzing Bauxite trace elements and Sr isotopic, obtained that Taiping generally showed a continental freshwater depositional environment characteristics; the NW side of Nadou was continental sedimentary environment, the SW side of Neisang was sea sedimentary environment; Gulai in Xin’an was marine depositional environment. Overall, Pingguo showed sea land intersection of environmental patterns. Land and sea intersection line was near the Natang and Najuan.4.Studying the microarea-geochemical characteristics of primary bauxite, by scanning electron microscopy and electron probe means to analyze the main elements distribution of the oolitic, exploring the significance of microscopic geochemical to environment.5.summarizing a variety of research and analysis, proposing the Pingguo was based on delta sedimentary facies sedimentary environment, in addition, dividing sedimentary facies into Sedimentary microfacies.6.Combined with Characteristics of sedimentary microfacies and micro-element analysis, discussing Pingguo mineralization environment, Considering that Shaba microfacies was most conducive to the primary ore enrichment, while the regions where near Narong and Tangqin were the most ideal primary ore mineralization region.
