Four-body distorted wave (4DW) model is applied to calculate fulldifferential cross sections (FDCS) for single ionization of helium by C6%Au24+and Au53projectiles at impact energies off2MeV/amu and100MeV/amu for C64+and3.6MeV/amu for Au24*and Au53+. And then theresults are compared with corresponding experimental data and othertheoretical predictions. For2MeV/amu,4DW results are in reasonablygood agreement with experiment both in the shape and magnitude.For100MeV/amu, in the scattering plane, the4DW results are in verygood agreement with experiment for small and intermediatemomentum transfer. However, some significant discrepancies arefound for large momentum transfer and the perpendicular plane. ForAu24*and Au53+, there is a complete lack of accord with the availableexperiments. The experiment displays unique forward peakstructures in the FDCS that were not seen In the theoretical approach.Furthermore, the contributions of various scattering amplitudes to theFDCS are examined. It is found that the structure of the FDCS isdetermined by the interference pattern of these amplitudes. We alsohave studied the influence of the interactions between the scatteirngprojectile and ejected electron and target nucleus on FDCS.
