Songliao Basin is one of the most important large-scale oil and gas basins and ithas been found more than forty oil and gas fields. One-third of China’s oil and gasresouse was from here. Fuyu oil field is located on the III structure belt of south ofSongliao Basin and the reservoir controlled mainly by tectonism. There are manyfaults in this field which has complex structure.The main develop layers of Fuyu oil field are the forth and the third section ofQuantou formation, they are also named Fuyu oil layer and Yangdachengzi oil layer.Fuyu oil layer has been studied deeply. After many years exploration, mining hasentered a stage of high water. The Yangdachengzi oil field are potential oil resources,but it has no fine clear reservoir understanding, resulting in a low reserve capacity.Hence, we need the refining and deepening geological studies reservoir forYangdachengzi oil layer, especially the analysis of reservoir architecture.This paper is based on theory of sequence stratigraphy, petroleum geology andsedimentary petrography etc. Through the analysis of existing core, stratigraphy andlogging data, made the fine stratigraphic division and correlation for the study area.On these basis, made the microfacies deposition and sand body configuration featureanalysis, has achieved the following results:①Established the stratigraphic framework of the region, and dividedYangdachengzi oil layer into six groups (V-X) and21small layer units.②The study considered that the third section of Yangdachengzi oil layer ismeandering river sedimentary facies, has developed channel, natural levee, crevassesplay, flood plain, abandoned channel and other microfacies. Among them, thechannel is the most thickness sand bodies deposited of meandering river deposit, andis considered as the best reservoir facies. Flood plain is the most widely distributedmicrofacies type in the study area.③Identified the single sand body types in the study area, analysis thedistribution characteristics of single sand body, and calculated the internal configuration elements of the single sand body. The sand body contact relationship aremostly isolated contact type in the study area, but sand body spread good with astrong continuity. Indicating that the reservoir zone is stable, but with a small area.
