Qian153-59block belongs to Qian An oil field in Song Liao Basin, in area ofapproximately4.83Km2. After several years of mining, the block has entered the stageof mid-high water, but the problem is that the capacity of well is low and theremaining oil distribution is unknown. Paper integrates application of geologic, geophysics, drilling result, oil test and other information. Focusing on deeperunderstanding of reservoir geological features, calculating geological reserves,3Dgeological modeling and numerical simulation to get the remaining oil distributionprediction. The main results are as follows:Using logging data, it can be included that the block mainly developed delta frontsubfacies and source direction is southwest. The block widely developed thesubaqueous distributary channel, mouth bar and frontal sheet sand. Papers cleared thatthe reservoir is mainly silstone, intergranular pore and dissolved hole developed. Thereservoir type is lithologic reservoir, and the petroliferous property of the highstructure on the eastern side is good, but it has poor continuity; the petroliferousproperty of the low structure on the western side is relatively poor.Conducting the oil-bearing area, the effective thickness and some othercalculation parameters and using the volumetric method in the study area39,40layerto calculate the geological reserves of oil is about102.36×104t.Based on geological research, paper carried out establishing the geological modelsof No.39,40layer in the study area. Paper focused on the use of sequential indicatorsimulation and phase diagram plane bound algorithm combining to establish amicrofacies model which was highly compliance with the geological knowledge, andthen established a phased stochastic simulation model attributes the condition toachieve a reservoir quantitative rendering in parameter space.By taking reservoir numerical simulation, paper matched production history to thesuccessive57production wells to simulate the changes of flow of the fluid within thereservoir area, and predicted distribution of remaining oil. Ultimately determined thepotential areas of remaining oil are153-46block,153-63block,153-6-2block and153-8-3block.
