The research object of the paper is twenty-one China typical tungstendeposits.The auther summarizes the geological characteristics of ore deposit fromregional geological characteristics, ore deposit geological characteristics, geologicalcharacteristics of ore bodies,ore deposit exploration and development overview,thenstudies and establishes geological prospecting model of China typical tungstendeposits.The geological prospecting model of quartz-vein type typical tungsten deposits:Ore_bearing strata is mainly cambrian.The lithology is mainly clastic rock andmetamorphic rock. Fracture is all the main ore-controlling structure. The deposit ismainly related to acidic intrusive rocks. Yanshanian is the main metallogenic epoch.The ore bodies mainly output as veins. Ore minerals include wolframite, scheelite,molybdenite, sphalerite,chalcopyrite,arsenopyrite,pyrite,pyrrhotite etc.The commonsurrounding rock alteration types include silicification, greisenization, chloritization,lithification and fluoritization.The geological prospecting model of skarn-type typical tungsten deposits:Ore_bearing strata does not focus on one of the stratigraphic age. The lithology allincludes carbonate.Fracture is the main ore-controlling structure.Deposit is mainlyrelated to acidic intrusive rocks.Yanshanian and Caledonian are the mainmetallogenic epoch.The ore bodies mainly output as bedded,laminated andlenticular.Ore minerals include scheelite, sphalerite, pyrite, molybdenite, pyrrhotite,chalcopyrite, cassiterite.The common surrounding rock alteration types includeskarnization,silicification, Chloritization, fluoritization, sericitization, epidotization.The geological prospecting model of massif-type typical tungsten deposits: Theore_bearing strata and lithology are various.Fracture is the main ore-controllingstructure.Deposit is mainly related to acidic intrusive rocks.
