Coal is an important energy in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and coal mining has promoted the rapid development of national economic, in the meantime, mine environmental problem caused by it has resulted in the exacerbation of the vulnerable ecosystems. The local original geomorphology and natural vegetation has been destroyed by coal mining In the west of Inner Mongolia, as a result serious soil and water loss, land desertification and a large area of spoibank. Therefore, it is an important part to control and constructe vegetation in dump.In the study, to determine the effect of added ectomycorrhizal fungi (ECM fungi) on the grown of two plants in spoibank and soil factor, we carried out and inoculate ECM fungi for Pinus tabulaeformis Carr. and Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica Litv. in field experiment and under laboratory conditions, in the opencut Hal WuSu coal mine, Erdos, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The study’s aim is to provide theoretical and practical basis for the ecological reconstruction of coal mine spoil banks. The main conclusions are as follow in the study:(1) Inoculated S.collinitus has improved the colonization rates and the survival rates of P. tabulaeformis and P. sylvestris var. mongolica planted on spoil banks, but the difference was not significant. And ECM fungi has improved the rhizospheric soil environment of P. tabulaeformi and P. sylvestris var. mongolica and has increased the content of total nitrogen, available P, available K,and soil organic matter. ECM fungi has improved the number of bacteria, actinomycetes, fungi and the the actives of urease, catalase, invertase, alkaline phosphatase.(2) Under laboratory conditions,we inoculated S. collinitus and S.luteus for P. tabulaeformi seendings planted on soil sampled from spoibank. The inoculum has significantly increased the fresh weight and dry weight and mycorrhizal dependency (P<0.05), in the meantime, the chlorophyll content and photosynthetic characteristics of seendings (P<0.05). The inoculation with ECM fungi has significantly increased the content of total nitrogen, available P, available K, soil organic matter, and the number of bacteria, actinomycetes, fungi and the the actives of urease, catalase, invertase, alkaline phosphatase (P<0.05).(3) ECM fungi has improved the grown of P. tabulaeformis and P. sylvestris var. mongolica Litv.. Mycorrhizal technology are conducive to vegetation restor-ation on spoil banks, and has an good application prospect.
