This paper has analyzed the geological condition for delimiting earthquake riskregions of Daqing and the surrounding area, the energy base having a pivotal role in thenational economy. Based on the collected earthquake geological data, earthquake dataand seismicity data of Daqing and surrounding area, and also based on the Daqingtectonic zoning map. Through the research of the environment of region tectonic,geophysical field, the recent tectonic, activity of faults, modern geodynamics, riskdividing of earthquake and seismic ground motion parameter zonation. Realize that theJI-HEI block Daqing located in is a stable geological unit in region geotectonic,Songliao depression is activity area in the stable block neotectonics movement. Mainlyfor differential lifting or depressing, Songliao depression earthquake swarm is moreactive than other areas, most of the fault in the area is blind, strong earthquakes arecontrolled by the faults of NS and NW-trend. In addition, NS and NW-trend faults arein the lower activity level. Based on the research of regional seismicity and areatectonism, combined with the relative stress measurements, divide into21earthquakehazardous areas, and provide Daqing and surrounding area in the next50yearsprobability of exceed10%seismic zonation maps and acceleration zoning map, etc.Meanwhile provide the scheme of monitoring and prediction.
