Wavelet theory has been the rapid development for nearly three decades,in thispaper, make Fourier Transform and window Fourier Transform as a theoreticalstarting point, pointed out the defects of the two theories. Then we introduce wavelettheory, it can solve difficult problems in the past, which breakdown at highfrequencies highlighting detail, at low frequencies rough points highlighting the trend.Inherited the wavelet, multiscale analysis function based on wavelet theory hasexcellent features. Use Mallat algorithm,extracted by the iteration of the signalcomponents of different frequencies, finally, you can get the details of each order andapproximate signal. Then design establish a gravity density model, get the calculatedgravity anomaly data. By multiscale analysis theory,1-d,2-d gravity anomalyseparation and extraction, after several experimental comparison, determine the use ofwavelet function and wavelet multiscale analysis of the order, and then get the localregional gravity anomalies and gravity anomalies. Using other traditional methods ofmodel data were analyzed by comparing the advantages of multi-scale analysis,andwe find the advantages of multi-scale analysis.Then introduced the Xiaopaodan Ditch work area in Inner Mongolia project, thebrief data processing of gravity and magnetic of the work area, then use multi-scaleanalysis to separate the gravity data, at last delineation of the cross section focuses oncross-sectional data the inversion of explanation.Through multi-scale analysis of the gravity anomaly, wavelet analysis can beseen in the gravity anomaly data extraction is very effective, and lateral densityperturbations abnormal morphology varies at different depths, and gravity anomaly isindeed different depths field source exception stack.1-d,2-d wavelet function detail reveals shallow field source information,3-d,4-dwavelet function detail also reflects the general location of the shallow field sources insome extent. Theoretical models of decomposition until5-d, the reconstruction of theapproximate function is better to correspond the region field of information theory.
