Dilute magnetic semiconductor materials utilization3d transition metal ions or4f rare earth ions replace of â…¡-â…¥,â…£-â…¥ or â…¡-â…¤ family compound in which a part of the non-magnetic cation formation.Dilute magnetic semiconductors opened pintronics,DMSs have many unusual physical and chemical properties excellent optical of electrical,magnetic and optical catalysis.DMSs have not only the characteristics of electrons,but also charge spin properties.Because DMS have these special properties,the majority of scientists related fields at home and abroad who generated great interest to research.ZnO DMS nanomaterials are widely used in functional materials fields.They were concernded to have their own luminescence and magnetic properties.ZnO have UV-emitting material at normal temperature and the same performance at a higher temperature.ZnO also have good piezoelectric conductivity,thermal conduc-tivity,ferromagnetic properties and UV absorption properties.They are often widely used in photovoltaic and piezoelectric transducer,a variety of application areas of solar cells,piezoelectric and pyroelectric devices,electromagnetic sensors,UV detector and photocatalytic activity,and so on. Initially researchers used doping an element (Fe,Co,Ni,etc) to change certain properties of DMS.In recent years, many researchers doped two elements (Fe and Ni,Co and Cu,Co and Ni,etc) to obtain the desired ferroelectric, ferromagnetic stability and luminescent properties. They are better than doping a single element in experiment results. Currently used a transition metal of group doped mainly Fe,Ni,Co,Cu and other elements.They mainly through alternative forms into dilute magnetic semiconductor lattice. Because of the transition metal elements changed the microstructure,morphology,optical and magnetic properties of diluted magnetic semiconductors.Prepared Zn1-xFexO(x=0,0.05,0.10,0.15), Zn1-xFexNixO(x=0.01,0.02,0.025,0.03) and Zn0.95FexCo1-xO(x=0.01,0.02,0.025) dilute magnetic semiconductor materials by hydrothermal method in diffent proportions at room temperature. The samples were characterized structure and morphology by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and the transmission electron microscopy (TEM).Single doped and co-doped samples were analysised optical properties by the Raman scattering spectrum (RAMAN), photoluminescence spectra (PL) and the ultraviolet-visible pectrophotomete (UV-vis). And the magnetic properties were studied by the vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM).The experiment results show that the samples prepared by hydrothermal crystallization method with good wurtzite structure,the morphology of nanorods, dispersion and good crystallinity.The Fe+,Ni2+,Co2+ion successfully substituted for the lattice site.The Fe:ZnO,Fe-Ni:ZnO,Fe-Co:ZnO samples changed RMAN spectra, PL spectra and UV-vis spectras.The results show that Fe,Ni and Co elements changed the capacity of ZnO.In addition,VSM spectras show that single and co-doped samples exhibited significant ferromagnetism.And the magnetization and coercivity changed with the doping amount.The results thow that the doped elements changed the magnetic properties of ZnO.
