This paper deals with the exponential stability of uncertain sampled-data system. Moti-vated by the stabilization of impulsive and reset system, we analyze the stability of sampled-data system, and then design reset matrices such that the uncertain sampled-data system is globally uniformly exponentially stable. The stability conditions are presented as LMIs which can be solved numerically using soft-ware packages. Compared with the previous considerations, in our system, the first significant difference is that the interval between two reset instants is supposed to be uncertain. And we show that our conditions improve upon previous results in the sense that the closed-loop system remains stable for nearly periodic sampling intervals. The second boldly innovation is that we simultaneously give it an appropriate reset at the sampling instants to keep it stable. The results are illustrated by a numerical example that indicates the improvement upon the existing litera-tures.
