A Unified Format And Its Editor For Exchange And Presentation Deep Sequencing Data

With the rapid development of next generation sequencing, millions of data wasproduced and analysis software tools downstream were also growing exponentially.However, the standard between these software tools was not uniform. These software toolsusually defined their own formats. It is difficulty to exchange data between these softwaretools. To solve this problem, we deal in two levels in this paper. First, we developed afriendly and powerful tool for format conversion. But format conversion still had someproblems such as information loss and waste of time. So then we developed a useful formatNGSML especially for NGS. It can solve data exchange and presentation problems. Itwould be great helpful for researchers so that researchers can focus on their core subjectregardless of troublesome format problems. Meanwhile, we developed an easy to use toolto edit and presentation of NGSML format. Finally, we applied NGSML into concreteproblems. We stored data in NGSML format in POMA software. It showed its powerfulfunction and good expandability.
