Modern industries pay more attention to automation. Under such a requirement, bothof the production process and the logistics section turn to be intelligent and intensive.Currently, AS/RS(Automated Storage and Retrieval System) is widely used in manyenterprises. This paper was to solve the practical engineering problems by analyzingpreliminary planning of ammeter AS/RS. The optimized design scheme which is suitableto company operating was obtained by modeling, simulation and optimizationIn this paper, operation capacity, technological process and equipment parameters ofammeter AS/RS logistics system are firstly studied. According to its features,object-oriented modeling method was applied to build a suitable AS/RS logistics systemsimulation model, and then the simulation result can be got after the simulation of eachfunction module. Service efficiency of equipment in the simulation result was discussed inorder to seek optimized target object and build optimization model. Use the CosineVariation Genetic Algorithm to compute the multi-objective optimization function,got theresult and made a comparison with former simulated equipment operation efficiency.The major job of this article include ammerter AS/RS logistics system simulationmodel designing, optimization model establishment and solution. eM-plant is aprofessional logistics system simulation software. It not only has the physical module ofsimulation device but also has a powerful programming control element. Using high levelprogramming language, eM-plant can simulate the equipment performance and satisfy thesystem control flow and logic. According to the analysis of simulation results and theprinciples of scientific goods allocation design, optimization model was established, whichcan improve stacker efficiency and also keep the system stability. This article innovationpoint lies in proposing the specific Cosine Variation Genetic Algorithm to solve themulti-objective optimization problem.This article using eM-plant simulation software to test the rationality of ammeterAS/RS design has valuable guidance of the similar design because of the clear data andintuitive problem presentation. Through the review of equipment utilization to established multi-objective optimization model not only can improve the working efficiency, shortenthe work time, but also take account of stability of the whole shelves. That emphasized theimportance of consider the actual facts while solving the problems. Cosine mutationgenetic algorithm provided by discussing optimization model was applicable for solvingmulti-objective function.
