Wnt/β-catenin signalling plays essential roles in early embryonic devele-βpmen t and its main function is dorso-ventral patterning. The Wnt/PCP p-athway reg ulates directed cell movement during development and partici-pates in converge nt extension (CE) movement. Although the two signalli-ng pathways function in quite different fields, they are similar uptream of dishevelled and become di fferent downstream of dishevelled by dishevel-ed’s selective recuit of variable p roteins. dishevelled is a multifunctional protein. There are lots of studies abo ut dishevelled, but until now people’s knowledge about dishevelled is still supe rfacial. Apart from dishevel-ed, our study shows that another gene knypek, wh ich is considered a coreceptor exclusively funtioning in Wnt/PCP pathway, may also plays a role in Wnt/β-catenin signalling. But this discovery needs furthe r investigation.goosecoid is closely related to Wnt signalling pathway, goosecoi d, as a target gene of Wnt/β-catenin signalling, can inhibit Wnt/β-catenin signal ling. Studies about goosecoid have long been argued. Recently, convenient an d efficient genome editing technologies TALENs an CRISPR/Cas9have emerge d. Studies using mutant are highly reliable. For the conv-eience of further in vestigation,1constructed the mutants of three genes described above using TA LENs. Because of the long work cycle of gen-etics, functional study of these genes is still preliminary.In addition, I participate in the zebrafish1st chromosome gene knocko-ut wo rk and almost finish my charge of8genes. I have also construted3transgen ic zebrafish lines in the need of experiments.
