In the process of actual mining process of gas mine, the local area often appear thegas enrichment phenomenon that gas content and gas emission increase suddenly. Inthis paper, it uses gas geology theory, research the reasons for the formation of coalseam gas enrichment qualitatively, analyse the relationship between the geologicalfactors that form coal seam gas enrichment and gas content quantitatively, and on thebasis of bedrock thickness in coal seam, using RFPA numerical simulation the loadingconditions of terrane, research the influence of coal seam bedrock thickness gradient togas enrichment, ascertain the identification method of gas enrichment which is ofbedrock causes. combined with gas geology information and data in the process ofactual production of measurement of Zhaogu Ⅰ mine, studied the control function ofgeological structure evolution to gas occurrence in of Jiaozuo Mining area, andanalysed Zhaogu Ⅰ mine gas occurrence law and tectonic control characteristics,analyzed the causes and occurrence characteristics of coal mine gas enrichment inZhaogu Ⅰ mine, predicted coal seam gas content and gas emission; Combined withgeological tectonic characteristics, bedrock thickness, and the change of bedrockthickness gradient and other factors of the coal seam, to recognize the gas enrichmentarea. The results of the study show that,(1) The gas enrichment is affected by a varietyof geological factors comprehensively;(2) The identification method of gas enrichmentarea which is of bedrock causes is as follows: Gas enrichment of the coal seam is thearea that bedrock thickness gradient of coal seam grad (u)=dh/dl≥0.06or coal seambedrock thickness h≥150m while the area of thickness of the bedrock h≥50m in thesoutheast mine coal seam.(3) The uplift and faults and mesozoic strata of TaihangMountains control the mining area characteristics in Jiaozuo. The mine is located in theup throw side of the NW Yuhekou, the upthrown block of it’s normal fault, the upperuplift makes a long time exposure and strong erosion of the coal measure strata, causedthe most residue bedrock of coal seam is thinner, the gas release, caused coal seam gascontent decreased;(4) It’s found that geological structure and the change of coal seambedrock gradient is the main reason that caused the mine gas enrichment;(5)It uses theabove method to indentify the gas enrichment area of mine coal seam, the results fit for the practical production of the mine. The results provide reference for coal miningventilation design, gas extraction using and gas disasters comprehensive treatment.
