Aluminum strip has extensive and important applications in the production of variousdepartments of the national economy, but our country aluminum process still relativelybackward and less high-precision equipment compared with other developed country,theproblem that improving the quality of the strip is the urgent need to solve. The strip shapeis one of the quality indicators of aluminum strip, improved the strip shape not only canincrease the products lumber recovery, but also create a good initial conditions for thefollowing production process. The flatness of the strip continuous improvement, at thesame time, the horizontal index of strip crown is particularly important in the actualrolling process. At present, for the complex external environment and imperfect detectiontechnology, automatic flatness control (AFC) become a major problem in the rolling fields.Establish accurate, comprehensive, concise crown model to improve the shape quality isstill very necessary.The flatness control including the preset control and feedback control of the two parts,control strip shape preset control still lack mature theories scheme for the feedback controland not meet the needs of the actual rolling. Hydraulic bending roll is main control meansfor the adjustment strip crown, the accurate preset value of bending force can greatlyimprove the plate strip crown. To an "1+4" aluminum hot rolling mill as the main studyobject, to start with analyzing the mechanism of roll deformation and the variation of stripshape with various factors in the process of rolling roll by use of the influence functionmethod, and then propose the application of least squares support vector machine(LSSVM) to modeling the strip crown for the system complex characteristics ofmulti-variable, non-linear, strong coupling. Using artificial bee colony algorithm (ABC)optimized the parameters of the model to obtain the optimal strip crown model. Finally,using artificial bee colony algorithm again finds out the best preset of bending force inorder to improve the quality of the strip shape.This theory is applied to the simulation experiment and results show that theestablished strip crown model can improve the quality of the strip shape.
