In recent years, lattice sandwich structure is generally recognized as a morepromising structure material in the international. It is proved that its mechanicalproperty is uncommon. This structure have many characteristics which traditionallight structure does not have.For example, lattice structure is a cyclical sandwichstructure. Its internal there are lots of space can use. it can increase the designvariables. These characteristics created the conditions that the lattice structure willlead into multifunctional sandwich structure.In the premise of guaranteeing lattice sandwich structure basic mechanicalproperties, the main purpose of this paper is to design good thermal managementproperties of the lattice sandwich structure.Preparing the composite material with high thermal conductivity capacity isthe premise to improve lattice sandwich structure cooling capability. The mechanicsperformance of high thermal conductive composite materials prepared by highthermal conductivity fiber and high thermal conductivity resin often is not good.Therefore this paper use FMLs ideas for reference. Metal of high thermalconductivity and carbon fiber composite materials of excellent mechanicalproperties were prepared by fiber metal hybrid composites with both thermal andmechanical properties. The experiment tested that this material has relatively highthermal conductivity. And then this article focuses on tensile, compression, threepoint bending and low impact mechanical properties of1-2,2-2and3-2type FMLs.It was found that the1-2type FMLs have the best mechanical properties understatic load. And2-2FMLs have the best mechanical properties in the low-speedimpact loading.Finally, we use the finite element software ABAQUS researchthermo-mechanical order coupling performance of fiber metal laminate compositespanel-metal lattice sandwich structure. The studies found that thermo-mechanicalperformance of lattice sandwich structure shows “lattice” distributioncharacteristics under the constant heat flux loading. In the course of the study ofthermo-mechanical performance of this structure under heat shock loading, wefound that the influence of thermal shock loading is local for this structure.
