Dimethyl carbonate (DMC) is a type of organic synthesis raw material.Meantime, it is an important intermediate in organic synthesis, and also a type ofenvironmental protection organic chemical raw material which can meet the criterionof modern "clean technology".Transesterification is a traditional manufacture technology in production of DMC,which has taken advantages in international competition in the past. This article isbased on Yankuang Guohong chemical Co., Ltd DMC project,the first phase of theproject engineering, a single set of50,000t/a DMC device as the research object. Toconstruct a single set of domestic largest production by transesterification of DMCdevice, energy optimization technology design has been employed. Therefore, theimprovement technology has significant impacts on the improvement of domesticchemical product ion technology level, the acceleration of DMC applications inchemical industry and protection of ecological environment.Through the study of recovery system in energy from three-tower bottommethanol, recovery of fiver-tower heat by seven-tower bottom liquid and four-towerheat by one-tower bottom liquid, make full use of the internal medium recoverysystem heat energy. It saves a lot of consumption of water and steam. Throughthe above research on energy optimization, compared with the original design, saveswater consumption is3526.45t/h, steam consumption57.364t/h.Therefore, throughcontinuous energy optimization study, the research will greatly reduce productioncosts and improve product competitiveness.
