Methanol is an important chemical raw materials, it is mainly used in formaldehydeproduction, but as a methylating agent, can also be used for the production of avariety of other chemical products.In addition, it is the good performance of theenergy and the car uses fuel, so it means that, as the future of the alternate fuel,society to have great demand, so large and qualified methanol production is verymeaningful.But in the actual production of methanol in crude methanol, due in a greatlot of impurity effects make methanol product quality are greatly reduced, thus in theproduction of methanol, rectification system is extremely important and critical part.Improvement and optimization of methanol purification process, save the energy ofdistillation process, and improve the products of methanol quality and so on, they arepromoting the further development of methanol production an important technicallink.Through years of practice, our country uses generally methanol distillationprocess although Twin Towers has the advantages of simple process, convenientoperation and stable operation has the advantages of high energy consumption, but theexistence of defects.This paper to methanol distillation yield improvement, energyconservation, take Yankuang Guohong, an annual output of500000tons of methanoldistillation process based on existing, process simulation and optimization, which ismainly from the angle of technology on production process and main equipment forthe material balance, tower equipment simple calculation and heat balance calculationprocess calculation, and the operation of the system put forward reasonablesuggestions to optimize the formulation, then according to the optimizationsuggestions of reforming scheme, so that the methanol yield increased significantly,and for methanol distillation energy saving provides basis.
