The chelate of GSH-Cr3+-NA was prepared with CrCl3·6H2O, Nicotinic acid andGlutathione by phase equilibrium in this paper. The major influence factors of preparingand effect on e.coli growth of GSH-Cr3+-NA chelate was studied. Spectrum andmorphology analysis were used to explore molecular structure. Experimental resultsshowed that the GSH-Cr3+-NA chelate was obtained which molar ratio is Cr3+to NAand GSH was1:2:1when the reaction continued3h under the Cr3+to NA and GSHwas1:2:1, pH was equal to5.0and temperature was60℃; Compared with NA and GSH,TG-DGA curves of GSH-Cr3+-NA appeared a new endothermic peak at71℃andtheendothermic peaks of NA and GSH at203.71℃、239.57℃shifted to290.12℃、488.11℃for GSH-Cr3+-NA; Compared with GSH, The-NH2and-NH had a blue shiftat3249.85cm-1, the stretch vibration peak of-C=O had a red shift at1600.86cm-1andthe stretch vibration peak of-SH disappeared at2527.27cm-1for GSH-Cr3+-NA. Thischanges indicated that-NH、-C=O、-SH take part in coordination; Compared with NA,The stretch vibration peak of-C=O had a red shift at1707.49cm-1and characteristicabsorption peaks of-OH disappeared at2421.10cm-1for GSH-Cr3+-NA. The changesindicated that-C=O and–OH take part in coordination. AFM scanning showed that thereticular formation which was formed by two pyridine ring and one chainlike structurewas GSH-Cr3+-NA, which molar ratio is Cr3+to NA and GSH was1:2:1. Finally, theexperiment of e.coli growth showed that there was a promoting when the concentrationof GSH-Cr3+-NA was exceeding1.5×10-4g/mL, but there was a restraining when theconcentration of GSH-Cr3+-NA was below1.5×10-4g/mL.
