Abutment pressure play a leading role in various forms of complex mine strata behaviors, which is often the power source of complicated mine dynamic phenomenon. For the actual situation of gun sound in the excavating and working face when to deep mining,which in the soft coal seam geological conditions of Chaochuan coal mine of Pingdingshan Tian’an Coal Group Co. Ltd., By the comprehensively methods of laboratory test, theoretical analysis, numerical simulation, field measurement and so on, this thesis had a research on abutment pressure distribution characteristics, which provide a basis for the optimization of the roadway supporting in advance and the support plan of coal face.Firstly, the coal and surrounding rock physical mechanical properties were tested, and then, the surrounding rock were classified based on the tests and abutment pressure distribution characteristics were researched though theoretical analysis; Secondly, the abutment pressure distribution characteristics in front of the both sides of the coal mining face and the tailgate deformation characters under the effect of mining were studied by field measurement, and at the same time the two were compared and analyzed, which show that the conclusion and the theoretical analysis are basically coincident; Then, by using the FLAC numerical simulation, the abutment pressure distribution characteristics were studed under different conditions, including the coal thickness, coal seam mining depth, and coal hardness, finally summarized the abutment pressure distribution law under the certain geological and production technology conditions; Finally, on the basis of all the above researches, the reasonable tailgate advance timbering distance and plan were determined, and the selection and adaptability analysis of overall combined suspension hydraulic support instead of single hydraulic prop were conducted, and applicated in coal face F16-17-21070successfully.The study conclusion has a important instruction meaning to the coal mine safety and high efficiency production, at the same time, it provide a theoretical guidance for the safety and high efficient working face which using drilling and blasting in the similar geological conditions.
