Gas is a product of geological processes, generation、migration and preservationconditions are controlled by comprehensive geology. The form of the current coal seam gasoccurrence is the result of the coal-bearing strata with complex geological evolution.This paper uses the theory of plate tectonics and evolution of regional geology theory,study on the two parts of Taihang Mountain orogenic belt in Jiaozuo mining area and theregional structure of tectonic position and the tectonic evolution in several tectonicmovements, tectonic stress field distribution characteristics of Guhanshan coal mine,combined with the actual production to expose of the mass of the gas content, gas emission,gas pressure data, according to the theory of gas geology and gas occurrence tectonic cascadecontrol theory reveals gas geology rule in Guhanshan coal mine and gas occurrence controlcharacteristics, study shows:(1)The Jiaozuo mining area is located in the North China plate, Taihang Mountainuplift belt near north-south (NNE) to arc turning parts of the east-west direction,structuretype is divided into pushing role in controlling type orogenic belt. Belongs to the eastern edgeof Taihang Mountain orogenic belt in high outburst gas zone, mainly controlled by the NNEtrending Taihang Mountain orogenic belt;(2)NE faults develop broader, and the multi-stage compression, shear structure of thetransformation, which are good for gas occurrence,and increasing coal and gas outbursthazard, however NW-fault is easy for gas release;(3) In the group phase fault as the boundary, the mine field is divided into two gasgeological units;.(4)The burial depth of coal seam is the main control factor of impacting Guhanshancoal mine gas content;(5)According to the coal seam gas content, gas pressure and the other parameters topredict coal and gas outburst hazard;(6)Estimating CBM resource in Guhanshan coal mine is4539.83Mm3Researched and summarized the gas geology rule of Guhanshan coal mine,whichprovides the reliable theory basis for mine planning, ventilation design, gas control andextraction, prevention and control of coal and gas outburst danger.
