In this paper, up-conversion luminescent materials was prepared,TiO2and up-conversionluminescent materials were assembled into nanocomposites. In order to expand visible lightresponse range and improve photocatalysis efficiency. The whole thesis has five chapters, andthe first chapter is background introduction and fifth chapter is summary, chapter two to chapterfour are about experiment and discussion, the listed as follows:(1). Er3+:Y3Al5O12,Pr3+:Y2SiO5and Gd3+, Pr3+:Y2SiO5up-conversion luminescent materialswere prepared through sol-gel method. Reaction time, calcinations temperature and heating ratewere discussed. Up-conversion luminescent materials can transform the visible light intoultraviolet light, satisfying the requirement of TiO2for photocatalytic.(2). Use sol-gel method to synthetize TiO2/Er3+:Y3Al5O12, by means of XRD,TEM,FT-IRto characterize the samples. The photocatalytic ability of the composite materials wasinvestigated by degradation organic dyestuff solution under visible light. As an upconversionluminescence agent, the Er3+:Y3Al5O12can transform the visible light into ultraviolet light,TiO2/Er3+:Y3Al5O12have enhance the photocatalytic activity of TiO2.(3). The TiO2/Pr3+:Y2SiO5was prepared by sol-gel method. The effect of calcinationstemperature and Pr3+:Y2SiO5amount of doping on the degradation was studied. The resultsshowed the photocatalytic activity of TiO2/Pr3+:Y2SiO5than pure TiO2and mixing powder haveobvious improvement.(4). Gd3+, Pr3+:Y2SiO5up-conversion luminescent materials were prepared throughcoprecipitation method. Energy transfer from Pr3+to Gd3+was observed.
