With the rapid development of modern computer science and the progress of theproduction technology, the research of modern CNC system is developing towards thedirection of the open software. The issue of developing the most widely used openarchitecture CNC system has become the research hotspot of the open CNC technology. Inthis paper, we study the open CNC system of PC+I/O software architecture, throughsoftware algorithms to realize strong real-time tasks in CNC systems, motion control cardis not required, so it cuts back the size of the CNC system hardware, reduces theproduction costs and improves the openness of the NC system.CNC system’s functional requirements for the real-time operating system iselaborated at the beginning of the paper and Windows+RTX software is identified as thedevelopment platform of the CNC system. The hardware structure for the grinder CNCsystem is set up based on the analysis of the main structure of the CNC cam grindingmachine and modular approach is adopted to establish the software architecture of thesystem; The paper also elaborates the grinder CNC system software development methodin the Windows+RTX software platform and maps out the flow of the informationbetween functional modules of the grinder CNC system.Secondly, automatic programming module is designed combined with the plane camCNC grinding algorithms; the interpolation algorithm flow chart is designed based on theplane cam grinder interpolation algorithm, the speed is smoothed by using S-curveacceleration and deceleration control algorithm; designed the real-time pulse overflowprocess of the position control module, proposed the scheme of digital-pulse converterbeing synchronous with sampling interpolation program; designed the real-time networkcontrol module by using RT-TCP/IP agreement.Then, we made a research on a variety of algorithms used in the grinder CNC systemfunction modules. We proposed virtual synthesis speed method based on the plane camCNC grinding algorithms; proposed planar CAM grinding machine interpolationalgorithm under polar coordinates by using data sampling method, combining multipleaxis interpolation algorithm, studied the S-curve acceleration and deceleration control algorithm which can be implemented easily and ensured the real-time nature; according todigital integral thought we studied and designed the digital pulse conversion method andrealized the real time of pulse overflow.Finally, we conduct an experiment on the grinder CNC system software, realized thecontrol of the entire numerical control CAM grinding machine processing, verify thecorrectness of the algorithm of the entire software, the real-time network controlexperiments were carried out, Verified the feasibility of real-time network control, and theexperiment results are analyzed.
