There’re many outstanding properties in aluminum alloys which make it rapidly developed and widely used in fields of construction, transportation, electron industry, packing and printing, aerospace, chemical and food industry, etc. Considering the current increasing demands of aluminum alloy, we should design more optimized techniques to meet the high mechanical properties, good formability and energy saving requirements. So the control of deformation and recrystallization texture so as to control its formability in actual production has an important meaning. The temperature of pre-heat treatment and manufacturing technique of aluminum band in the process of cold rolling has an impact on the microstructure and rolling texture which the formability of aluminum band depends on. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to reveal the effect of the temperature of pre-heat treatment and manufacturing technique on microstructure and texture, so as to optimize manufacturing techniques to improve the mechanical properties and the formability of aluminum alloy products. In this paper, CC and DC3003aluminum alloys are used as experiment samples, which are preheated and then cold rolled, the effect of the temperature of pre-heat treatment and manufacturing technique on microstructure and textures of cold-rolled sheets have been studied by metallography microscope and X-ray diffracmeter, and also quantitatively analysis the volume fraction by an improved calculation methodThe results show that the recrystallization texture of cold rolled DC3003aluminum alloy sheet with pre-heat treatment at538℃exhibit cube and weak P component, and stronger cube component with pre-heat treatment at593℃. The recrystallization texture of cold rolled CC3003aluminum alloy sheet is cube component. With the increasing temperature, the intensity of the recrystallization texture increased. A mathematical relationship was established between the texture volume fraction and the rolling true strain of DC and CC aluminum alloy. And this formula can simulate the evolution of the texture in the process of rolling very well. Prior heat treatment temperatures have an effect on the generated rate of β fiber components, when the true strain was less than0.6, the β fiber components generated rate of538℃sheets is higher than593℃sheets, and it is the opposite when the true strain was higher than0.6. The manufacturing technique has an effect on the orientation distribution functions of the centre line of β fiber components in the process of cold rolling, the intensities of the C and S orientations are the same of the CC aluminum and stronger than the orientations, and for DC aluminum alloy, it’s situated in the area of10℃around the S orientation. The manufacturing techniques have significant effects on the evolution of rolling texture, the β fiber formation rate of CC alloy is faster than it of DC alloy.
