Non-graphitized carbon foam has low density, excellent insulating performance andthermal shock resistance, so the non-graphitized carbon foam is one kind of materialswhich have potential applications of insulation in metal hot protection and aviationaerospace field.In this article, Non-graphitized carbon foam is prepared by the method of thetemplates,using furfuryl alcohol resin as carbon sources, after template pretreatmenttechnology,dipping curing process and coking sintering process preparation out non-graphitized carbon foam which is shapes neat, porosity and low density high. The articleresearched the influence of preparation of carbon foam process parameters to thestructure and properties of the carbon foam. The Template pretreatment process, dippingcuring process parameters and coking sintering process is finished through theorthogonal experiments.The articles analyzed influence of influence factors to the performance and structureof carbon foam product through the orthogonal experiments. Performancecharacterization and composition analysis of carbon foam is made, including density andporosity testing, microstructure was observed, the compression performance test, energyspectrum analysis and infrared spectral analysis. The results show that the quality scorefor9%of the treatment90h, the effect is best; Dipping curing stage, the temperature,viscosity and time of bubble deformation and the amount of carbon dipping the influencelaw, and the results show that dipping time for40min, viscosity for200mPaS,temperature of40℃, can obtain form variables minimum, dipping large quantities ofgreat size foam carbon products; Carbonized sintering stage, the study of large size waysintering placed the influence of foam carbon, and the result shows that the suspensioncan be placed shape neat no crack of great size foam carbon products. In addition alsofound that the influence of large size for dipping foam carbon mechanical properties,template microporous copy ability and the deformation of the one of the importantfactors.Furfuryl alcohol resin filling polyurethane foam kinetic process is analyzed by theequations of washburn. Establish the dipping amount of dynamic equation, and theresults show that template aperture, dipping time and dipping temperature effect is the important factor of carbon foam products. The theoretical analysis the template aperture,dipping time and dipping temperature to large size the influence law of carbon foam.Establish the carbon foam sintering model, obtained the bubble of the deformation of thecarbon differential equation, and analyzes the way for big size placed the influence lawof carbon foam deformation.
