In May2007, the Songhua River basin went into the recuperation period, and the exotic pollution sources have been effectively controlled in this period. And in2008, the Dadingzishan project put into use, increasing the waterenvironmental capacity. This paper analyzed the water quality of Songhua Riverin Harbin section in2006and2009, in order to understand the improvement ofits water quality in this period. In addition, after the exotic pollution sourceshave been effectively controlled, the internal pollution sources would be becomea main factors to cause the water quality deterioration. And the Dadingzishanproject will casuse the sedimentation. Therefore, we must carry out the study onthe effect of internal pollution sources on the water quality of Songhua River inHarbin section. In this paper the study on the distribution survey and analysis of pollutantsin Songhua River in Harbin section is carried out. Through the analysis of thewater quality of six routine monitoring sections of the Songhua River in Harbinsection from in2006and2009, includingpermanganate index, ammonia nitrogen, total arsenic, hexavalent chromium, total lead, total cadmium, total copper, totalzinc, summarize the distribution and pollution status of pollutants in the water. The results show that Ashihenei section’s organic matter and ammonia nitrogen isthe largest, Hulanhenei is the take second place, and Zhushuntun is lowest,Ashihekouxia, Hulanhekouxia and Dadingzishan differs little. And Ashiheneisection’s heavy metal is the largest, other monitoring sections differs little. Thewater quality is improving since the Songhua River basin is into recovery stagein May2007and Dadingzishan project put into use in2008.In this paper the study on the distribution of pollutants in the sediments andpollution status of the sediments is carried out. Through the determination of theorganic matter, ammonium nitrogen, arsenic, hexavalent chromium, lead, cadmium, copper, zinc in the six routine monitoring sections’ sediments, analyzethe distribution and pollution status of pollutants in the sediments. The resultsshow that the sediments of Ashihekouxia section contain the largest organicmatter and ammonium nitrogen, and its pollution evaluation grade is organicpollution level. Other monitoring sections are clean or still clean. The six section’organic nitrogen evaluation grade are relatively clean or still clean. The adsorption characteristics of ammonia nitrogen by sediments werestudied. Uusing the Hulanhekouxia section’s air dried sediments and NH4Clstandard solution to analysis the isothermal absorption properties and adsorptionkinetics of ammonia nitrogen. And the influence of environmental factors onammonia nitrogen adsorption was discussed. The results show that the adsorptioncapacity for ammonia nitrogen increased with the increase of balanceconcentration of NH4+, and Linear equation fit the isothermal adsorption ofammonia nitrogen well. The adsorption of ammonia nitrogen carry out in1h fast, and the second order kinetic model fit the adsorption kinetic of ammonia nitrogenwell. Higher temperature and lower pH can inhibit the ammonia nitrogenadsorption. The release characteristics of organic matter and ammonia nitrogen bysediments were studied. The Hulanhekouxia section’s fresh sediments and waterwere used to analysis the influence of environmental factors on the release oforganic matter and ammonia nitrogen in sediments and the release Kinetics. Theresults show that higher temperature, lower dissolved oxygen, lower oxidation-reduction potential and violent disturbance can promote the release of organicmatter and ammonia nitrogen. The release amount of organic matter under thealkaline condition is more than that under acidic condition, and the release ofammonia nitrogen is opposite. In the same oxidation-reduction potentialcondition, higher temperature and lower pH can promote the release of pollutantsin sediments. And the second order kinetic model fit the release kinetic oforganic matter and ammonia nitrogen well.
