A new technology was developed for aluminum alloy coloring. In this paper, thetechnology use industrial effluents solution as electrolytic, which effective reuse ofindustrial effluents, brown copper colored films on industrial pure aluminum L3wereprepared by applying by DC constant voltage method.Aluminum anodic oxidation use constant current method. Through the study ofanodic oxidation current density, electrolyte composition and electrolytic time impacton the properties of anodic oxidation film, to determine the parameters. Anodeoxidation process take solution which composition was the sulfuric acid200g/L,glycerol15ml/L and ethanol5ml/L as electrolyte, in15A/dm~2constant current modefor180min electrolysis. The anodic film is uniform, porosity and thickness withcoloring requirement.Coloring treatment was operate on L3with anodic oxidation film by DC methodand got the Brown copper colored films. Through the study of voltage and electrolytictime impact on the properties of colored films, determine the parameters. In theindustrial effluents electrolytic, L3with anode oxidation film as cathode underoptimum parameters with potential amplitude of15V and8min. The color of browncopper are films uniform, and colored films with good wear-resistant, binding forceand heat resistance.Corrosion resistances of colored films were evaluated by multi-electrochemicaltechniques including polarization curve and EIS,And microstructure was investigatedby surface analysis technology and correlation of film structure and corrosionresistance of films is studied. R_pof colored film were7.168kΩ·cm~2and0.2444kΩ·cm~2respectively in strong acidic media and weak acidic media. In strong alkalineand weak acidic media, the R_prespectively were6.337E9kΩ·cm~2and1.793E13kΩ·cm~2. R_pof colored film was0.4523kΩ·cm~2in neutral media. Corrosionresistances of colored films were best in alkaline media, and better than blank sample.
