Ionic liquid has low steam pressure, nonflammable, solubility and excellent conductivity,electrochemical stability window width, the physical and chemical properties, the separationtechnology, biological catalysis, organic synthesis and electrochemical focus. However, ionicliquids synthesis process is complex, difficult to be purified, higher cost disadvantages, thuslimiting the large-scale industrial application and development. In addition the toxicologicalstudies showed, pyridine and imidazole ionic liquid is not completely “green”, the toxicityassociated with conventional organic solvents, even greater than that of the traditional organicsolvents. Therefore, looking for the synthesis is simple, economical and greener alternativesolvent has very important significance.In2003, Abbott was first discovered by a quaternary ammonium salt and amidecompounds formed by physical and chemical properties of excellent solvent-eutecticsolvents (Deep Eutectic Solvents). The solvent is non-toxic, biodegradable, and the synthesisprocess of atom utilization rate up to100%, is a kind of novel green solvents. Eutecticsolvents and physical properties of ionic liquids are extremely similar, therefore it is classifiedas a class of novel ionic liquid or ionic liquid analogues. At present, the eutectic solvent hasattracted extensive attention of researchers around the world, and in the separation process,chemical reaction, functional materials and electrochemistry field show good applicationprospect. In this paper, the eutectic solvent composition, nature makes one brief introduction,mainly on the low melting point mixtures and their applications in organic synthesis.Quinoline and its derivatives in medical and biological value caused the people’sextensive concern, it is widely applied in cancer, malaria, tuberculosis, antibacterial, antiviral,ray sensitizer and other fields; in addition to an application in the medical field, it is alsowidely used in sterilization agent, kill the disease agents, pesticides, alkaloid, rubber additivesand the synthesis of flavoring agent; in addition, its are polymer materials, catalysis,preservatives, synthetic resin terpene and occupy the position can not be ignored.Pyrrole derivatives are a kind of important intermediates, which are widely used inpharmaceutical, pigment pigment synthesis, but also for organic functional materials research has greatly improved. Substituted pyrrole derivatives are a kind of important with unusualmedicinal value of a class of chemical compounds. For example, it has high antibacterial,antiviral, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant activity.As important heterocyclic compounds1,8-dioxo-octahydroxanthenes widely exists innatural molecules. Because of its vast biological medical characteristics, it have attractedgreat attention. Because of its excellent biological activity,1,8-dioxo-octahydroxanthenesoccupy an important position in the biochemistry. We find that the agriculture of excellentantibacterial properties, antiinflammatory, antiviral activity. Except in the dye industry andsome application.Therefore, we in a series of research results of reference, found in the acidic conditionsin the synthesis of quinoline, pyrrole and its derivatives can obtain higher yield, so werepeated experiments explore a suitable low eutectic solvents (L-tartaric acid: DMU andcitric acid: DMU=30:70,40:60) used in the synthesis of the heterocyclic compounds.With ionic liquid as a contrast, can see eutectic solvent is a natural substance synthesis,reproducible, easy mass synthetic chemicals. In spite of the ionic liquid can also userenewable resources synthesis, but the synthesis process, each step requires a suitable anion orcation to complete. More importantly, these eutectic solvents and eutectic mixture byunprocessed, non-toxic, have certain active natural substances, therefore, we can see that thesynthetic method, simple operation, short reaction time, mild reaction condition, wideapplication range, high yield, to better promote the the development of organic synthesis.
