It is briefly introduced that the energy conservation transformation program of hydrogen manufacturing unit in XIANGGUANG COPPER CO.LTD., including steam-reforming and partial oxidation-reforming. By comparing the experimental data, we select the best process program.The following conclusions can be drawn.1. We select Lobo-Evans method for the calculation of the furnace in order to solve the outlet temperature, the fuel consumption, the steam consumption and the best ratio of the fuel and steam. By contrast, steam-reforming is better than partial oxidation-reforming.2. We design the basic structure drawing of the primary reformer radiation room, primary reformer convection room, secondary reformer, furnace tube, burner and partial oxidation furnace.3. In this thesis, strength and stress distribution of the furnace tube were simulated by using ANSYS. According to the result, the comprehensive stress induced by gravity, pressure and temperature is much larger than the pressure stress, but it can be well absorbed if using the spring hanger and tail tube.In order to make credible results, this processing and testing of conversion tube system to ensure structures performance optimization is vital.4. This thesis analyses the condition at operation of the furnace by processing the result of ANSYS FLUENT, found out fire effects on dome and offered methods for improvement. Analysis results show that the highest temperature at the top of the furnace reaching1700℃.There is a serious back-flow phenomenon inside furnace.The structure of the burner has a significant impact on the velocity, so that the velocity in the axial direction descending.
