People pay more and more attention to pyrimidinone compounds. It is due to good biological activity and pharmacological activity of Pyrimidine ketone compounds, such as insecticidal, antimicrobial, antibacterial, weeding activities. As another kind of heterocyclic compounds, tetrazine derivatives is a kind of heterocyclic compounds containing four nitrogen atoms. Tetrazine derivatives have a great application prospect in pesticide, medicine, rocket fuel and liquid crystal materials. We studied synthesis methods of pyrimidinone and tetrazine derivatives. The fungicidal activities against Magnaporthe grisea of the tetrazines were tested. It may be summarized as follows:1. A general synthetic method to pyrimidinone compounds, the recent advances of aza-Wittig reaction, synthetic method to tetrazine derivatives and the antibacterial activity to the rice blast fungus are reviewed.2. New pyrimidinone derivatives were synthesized by aza-Wittig reaction starting from Baylis-Hillman adduct. The synthetic conditions and properties of the target compounds were studied and discussed. The synthetic routes could be used as new method to construct pyrimidine ketone compounds. Tt has the advantages of simple operation, the easily accessible starting materials, mild reaction conditions and the high yield.3. By using carboxylic acid as starting materials, nine tetrazine derivatives were synthesized through six steps. It has the advantages of is simple operation, mild conditions and higher yield. We also tested the antibacterial activity to the rice blast fungus of these compounds.
