As the term implied Controlled Rolling&Cooling contain two parts:controlled rolling and controlled cooling. It is a suitable method for steel rolling.The technology of controlled rolling and controlled cooling counld cut down the consumption of alloy, simplify the process of rolling and save the energy. Through the control of the rolling process, it can dig up the potential of steel and improve the performance of steel, so that it could bring great economic benefits for steel production enterprise.In abroad, controlled rolling&cooling method has been applied extensively in steel production enterprises and its theory and control model also were developed day and day. In our country this method also was researched and applied in some companies. But the result is not so satisfied all though the performance was improved somehow. But improvement of mechanical properties is very limited. The other reason which affacts this method could be used widely is that Steel rolling process is very complex, resulting in the actual effect of controlled rolling and controlled cooling is not stable.With the advance of technology the fuzzy control and neural network control have brought new idea to solve this kind of problem.In this paper, the author analyzed the metallographic examination transformation of the steel rolling process and knew the role which controlled rolling and cooling played in steel rolling process. On basis of these, through the use of3D modeling and fluid analysis methods, the author analyzed the process of steel rolling cooling water. Through setting the initial conditions which is similar with the actual cooling process, we can get the distribution of transient temperature field, analysis of cooling time, water pressure, water flow, water temperature influence on temperature field. Through the analysis of qualitative and quantitative of steel rolling water cooling process, we can concluded the mainly technology parameters requirements which are associated with control system.Finally the overall design of the cooling control system is completed; parts of the PLC programs and the HMI design are completed; the interface of the supervisory computer is developed by using the C#language. The monitoring system has some functions,such like alert management, historical data management, recipe management and report management. the program has adopted the modular and structured method, and the system gets better functionality, such as easy operation、full function and convenient management。...
