With the rapid growth of our country’s population and the fast development of the economy, the demand of the water resource increaces continuously.The destroy of the environment and the pollution of the water resource exacerbate the imbalance between supply and demand.The Dongjiang River valley is the highest density economy and the most rapidly growing area in Guangdong province.In this area the population density is so big that water quality safety is very important.Dongjiang River is the most important drinking water resources in Huanan area, it not only provides the water reamanded by Donguan, Shenzhen city, but also provides the most water of Hong Kong water supply.The water security is not only problems about resource and environmental security, but also is related to national economic and social development of major strategic issues.The study area of this paper is the river between Boluo hydrologic station and Shilong hydrologic station.Based on the the DHI MIKE water dynamic and water quality model, the Heavy metal water quality modelis established. Shima River is a tributary river of the main study area;the river is a river polluted by pollutants and it often make the water quality of Dongjiang River woesen.The Taiyuan pump station--Dongshen water supply project intake is adjacent to Shima river.From Taiyuan pump station to Shilong hydrologic station, there are several water intake, so this area is the important study area.In this area the paper usetwo-dimensional model and from Boluo to Shilong this paper use one dimensional model.The two-dimensional model is calculated using the boundary flow, water level of the results of the one-dimensional model.Considering about different water flow and water diversion length and downstream influenced by different tidals, the paper analyses and compare the water quality(the content of heavy metals in water change) changes, and finally choose the best water diversion scheme finally by comparing.The result of the study shows that the metal concentration is influenced by the tide content and the content changes are not same when Dongjiang River are influced by different tides when the heavy metal accident has happened.Transfering water from Dongjiang water conservancy can improve the water quality of the dongjiang river, and through the comparison that the diversion of water resources in different situation to improve the effect of water quality, this paper can provide more reasonable diversion scheme to achieve the result of improving water quality and not to waste water.
