Millet bran is a byproduct of the millet process, which is made of peel layers, accounting for5%to7%of the millet weight. China, as the largest producer of millet bran, Shanxi is also known as the "small grains Kingdom" reputation, A large number of millet bran are produced each year, but these millet bran have not been effective use. There is a largely part of millet bran as feed for livestock feeding, millet bran is not reasonable utilization. Thus the UNIDO also called the bran as "an underutilized feedstock".In foreign country, the millet bran has been gradually began to adopt bio-engineering techniques used. In China, the comprehensive utilization of rice bran is still in its infancy, only had a little part of them been as a livestock feed raw materials. With the deepening people’s understanding and technological development, by a large number of applications and as a huge of renewable resources, in the future there will be a very good development prospects in millet bran, if millet bran are rationally used, they will produce incalculable economic benefits. At present, the main contents of the study of millet bran is the preparation of millet bran oil, extracting of millet bran oil become the research focus of the oil sector. So, this topic is based on millet bran as raw materials, production of small rice bran oil, chemically isolated and purified from the millet bran oil linoleic acid as well as the synthesis of conjugated linoleic acid, provide for the comprehensive development and utilization of millet bran and small deep processing of millet bran oil theory basis, is of great significance for promoting the development of China’s small rice bran, brings a broad space for development of the rational use of agricultural resources optimization rural economic benefits to maximize the highest income of the farmers. Its main contents and conclusions are as follows:1. Make sure the small rice bran oil extraction method. Millet bran as the raw material is first determined as an optimum extraction solvent with n-hexane. Then this topic used Soxhlet extraction and Ultrasonic extraction to extract millet bran oil, to calculate the millet bran oil’s oil extraction rate. The results show that:when the Soxhlet extraction method to extract the millet bran oil’s extraction time was7h, material ratio was1:20, the millet bran oil’s extraction rate was10.23%; when Ultrasonic extraction method to extract the millet bran oil, extraction temperature was50℃, extraction time was90minutes, the material ratio was1:25, extraction times was the second, the millet bran oil’s extraction rate was9.98%. According to the factors of the high and low cost, grease quality good or bad, and the extraction efficiency, the topic considers the Soxhlet extraction as the millet bran oil extraction method.2. Systematic investigation and optimization of urea inclusion purification of millet bran oil linoleic acid conditions. First, mixture fatty acid composition was analyzed in the millet bran, wherein the highest content of linoleic acid. Millet bran oil was as raw material. Using saponification, acidification, urea inclusion process, linoleic acid was purified from the millet oil. On the basis of single factor and orthogonal experiments, the final selection of the urea inclusion separation and purification of linoleic acid’s the optimum conditions as follow:mixed fatty acid/urea (g/g) was1:5, urea/ethanol (g/mL) was1:30, the inclusion temperature was5℃, the inclusion time was30h. By GC-MS, GC analysis of linoleic acid, the linoleic acid was65.06%, its purity was83.96%.3. Systematic investigation and optimization of alkali isomerization preparation conjugated linoleic acid conditions. Linoleic acid as reactants, alkali (KOH) as a catalyst, glycerol as solvent, under the protection of heating and nitrogen, the linoleic acid prepared into conjugated linoleic acid. On the basis of single factor and orthogonal experiments, the final to determine the optimum conditions for preparing conjugated linoleic acid: reaction temperature was200℃, the reaction time was6h, the amount of solvent was0.8mL and the amount of catalyst was0.06g, prepared by the high-purity conjugated linoleic acid conjugated linoleic acid conversion rate was85.88%, determined by gas chromatography analysis, the active ingredient c9, t11and t10,c12-conjugated linoleic acid were41.28%and42.16%.
