Fluorescent probe is a kind of molecules which has characteristics offluorescence from ultraviolet to near-infrared light area, and the fluorescenceproperties (such as the maximum absorption and emission wavelength, etc.) changewith the environment. Fluorescent probe has many advantages, such as highsensitivity, specific selectivity for a particular substance, short reaction time, simpleand convenient, high selectivity and sensitivity of certain metal ions can be realized insitu and image analysis, so many scientific research workers pay great attention to it.Coumarin and its derivatives have the anti-tumor, antihypertensive, antibacterial, antiviral, pharmaceutical and physiological activity, so its application research is a hotspot. Coumarin belongs to the adjacent hydroxy cinnamic acid lactone, and alpha-pyrone truxene is the basic. The parent nucleus of coumarin alpha-pyrone truxene isno fluorescence colorless compound, but the ring of coumarin after modification withrelated substituent, can make the maximum absorption and emission wavelengthredshift of coumarin, and produce different color and fluorescence material. Coumarinhas a strong fluorescence in the range of visible light, good light stability, photophysical and photochemical properties, high fluorescence quantum efficiencyand large Stokes shift, etc.Four coumarin schiff fluorescent probes L1、 L2、 L3and L4have beensynthesized, In acetonitrile, upon the addition of Cu2+, the fluorescence intensity ofL1increased. L2displayed high selectivity toward Mg2+in acetonitrile, but L3andL4have no selective recognition effect for any ions.
