Study On The2,6-Two Chlorine Indophenol Method In Measuring The Vc Content Of Gannan Navel Orange

Vitamin C (Vc) content can be one of the evidences to decide whether the navel orange is excellent or not. Research on how to easily detect out the Vc content in navel orange is far-reaching significance. The "2,6-two chlorine indophenol method" introduced by this article, which only requires simple equipment and less drugs, is suitable for the detection station.The results show that when detect the contents of Vc in the navel orange, if the relative standard deviation is1.39～2.01%, recoveries are in the range of98.2～101.4%, this method can meet accuracy requirements in the Vc content detection of navel orange.The method have been used in the detection of gannan navel oranges and have achieved a satisfactory result.
