In the modern organic synthesis, the formation of C=C and C=N bonds is anextremely important synthetic method. Howere, in present the majority of thesynthetic methods have many shortcomings such as the noble metal catalyst, the highprice of raw material and serious pollution and so on. The development andapplication research of the methods of green catalytic synthesis is becoming more andmore popular. So the high efficiency, green, simple method to synthesis of C=C, C=Ncompounds is becoming particularly important. The paper will study the greenmethods of oxidation of alcohols and its applications in the synthesis of imines and α,β-unsaturated ketones, moreover, this thesis is composed of the following three parts:1. the study of the reaction of green oxidation of alcohol catalyzed by copper and airas the oxidation.2. the research of a green method for synthesis of imines catalyzedby copper.3. the study of a green method for synthesis of α,β-unsaturated ketonescatalyzed by copper. In the first part, based on the study of a large number of literatures, we developeda kind of oxidation of alcohols catalyzed by copper and promoted by air in organicphase and aqueous phase. We use cheap copper salts as the catalyst, with the additionof trace ligand, a small quantity of pro-oxidation and inorganic base. Compared withthe methods of literatures, the amount of catalysts of the reaction is greatly reduced.More importantly, we used air as the oxidizing agent, in room temperature conditionwhich is very mild.In the second part, we reviewed the research progress of the methods of thesynthesis of imines, including the tradition condensation of aldehydes and amines, theoxidation of amines, the oxidative coupling of alcohols and amines and the others. Weexploited the synthesis method of oxidation condensation between alcohols andamines catalyzed by the oxidation system composed by CuI-air, which can prepareimines compounds with high effiency and high selectivity in the rather mild conditionof room temperature in the air. In the third part, we sum up the literatures on synthesis of α,β-unsaturatedketones from various compounds, including taking off halogens ofdihalohydrocarbons, consendation of aldehydes and acetones, the consadention ofalcohols and aldehedes and so on. We study the preparation of α,β-unsaturatedketones by the condensation of alcohols and acetones in aqueous phase catalyzed bythe oxidation system of CuI-air.
