The experiment uses "oil coal" as raw material, heats distillation in air condition, collects fraction mixture under400℃. The reagent is brown in the normal temperature. It is a kind of organic compound which density is0.97g/cm3. The infrared spectrum analysis shows that the reagent contains a lot of fatty hydrocarbon, aromatic hydrocarbons and other substances. The study on surface chemistry experiment shows that the reagent has good hydrophobic, can form a good hydrophobic oil film on the surface of coal particles fast, so improving the hydrophobic of coal particles’surface. The experiment indicated that, the reagent has good collecting.ability on various coking coal.In order to verify the new collectors’ performance, the flotation test has used four kinds of coal, they are Malan fat coal contains aluminous shale, Malan fat coal contains aluminous shale and carbonaceous mudstone, Guandi coking coal and Taixi lean coal. The test results show that, Malan fat coal has some fine mud accumulation problems, the fine mud accumulation problems of Guandi coking coal and Taixi lean coal are serious. The gangue in Malan fat coal contains aluminous shale, Guandi coking coal and Taixi lean coal is fragile then coal. The progressive release experiment results indicate that the theoretical best yield of Malan fat coal contains aluminous shale is44.11%, ash is17.70%; the theoretical optimum yield of Malan fat coal contains aluminous shale and carbonaceous mudstone is52.68%, ash is17.58%; the theoretical optimum yield of Guandi coking coal is68.64%, ash is7.03%; the theoretical optimum yield of Taixi lean coal is73.4%, ash is7.35%.Do the small flotation experiments on the four coal under pulp density condition of80g/L,100g/L and120g/L, which reagent quantity of Malan fat coal contains aluminous shale, Malan fat coal contains aluminous shale and carbonaceous mudstone is1000g/t,1200g/t,1400g/t,1600g/t and1800g/t, reagent quantity of Guandi coking coal and Taixi lean coal is300g/t,600g/t,900g/t,1200g/t and1500g/t. Through the effect research of reagent quantity and pulp density condition on the flotation test. Find out the best reagent condition and the flotation indexes is:when the pulp density condition of Malan fat coal contains aluminous shale is100g/L new collector quantity is1600g/t foaming agent is160g/t, the clean coal yield was57.10%ash was16.90%; when the pulp density condition of Malan fat coal contains aluminous shale and carbonaceous mudstone is100g/L new collector quantity is1800g/t foaming agent is100g/t, the clean coal yield was63.09%ash was17.49%; when the pulp density condition of Guandi coking coal is80g/L new collector quantity is1800g/t foaming agent is100g/t, the clean coal yield was70.37%ash was6.04%; when the pulp density condition of Taixi lean coal is80g/L new collector quantity is1500g/t foaming agent is100g/t, the clean coal yield was81.01%ash was7.59%;Results from the small sieve test before and after the flotation is the new collector reagent has better selective in harge particles of Malan fat coal contains aluminous shale and better flotability in small particles; It has better selective in all particles of Malan fat coal contains aluminous shale and carbonaceous mudstone and better flotability in small particles; It has better selective in large and small particles of Guandi coking coal and better flotability in large particles; It has better selective in small particles of Taixi lean coal and better flotability in large particles.Compared with the test of kerosene find that, the effect of new collector is different by different kinds of coal, new collector has larger growth of yield with the increase of reagent quantity, indicating that the new collector has better collecting ability.The preparation process and effect test of the new collector are only preliminary because of the limited conditions. As the density and viscosity of the preparation product are large, the reagent consumption is relatively high, the "carry-under" fine mud of the products are more, the ash of the clean coal is high. The further experimental research should be on improving the separation process extraction of the "coal-oil", improving the collecting ability of the reagent and reduce the collector quantity.
