In this paper, we use the immersion method and the process is simple prepared.The load type catalytic material Fe2O3/HZSM-5and Fe2O3/HY, which were non-toxicand security. Using of the XRD, BET, FT-IR, and ICP-MS testing technology, wedetermined the structure of the prepared supported catalytic materials, composition andproperties. In the reaction, the load type catalytic material Fe2O3/HZSM-5was prepared,its composition and structure had been characterized. We discussed Fe2O3/HZSM-5catalyst for selective solvent-free oxidation of toluene to benzaldehyde. CatalystFe2O3/HZSM-5showed better catalytic performance. At the same time, we discussedFe2O3/HZSM-5catalyst preparation conditions and reaction conditions on the influenceof synthetic reaction, We determined the optimal preparation conditions of catalyst:optimal concentration of Fe(NO3)3·9H2O solution in anhydrous ethanol for preparingcatalyst with higher activity was0.5mol/L and claimed at550℃,loading of iron was2.26%. And the optimal preparation conditions: the toluene/H2O2molarratio1:3(toluene5ml, H2O215ml), the reaction temperature90℃,the reaction time4h,amount of the catalyst0.4g. Under the optimal conditions, we can get the17.3%conversion of toluene and51.4%selectivity of BzH. Addition, Fe2O3/HZSM-5catalyticreagent can be reused3times, without causing catalytic decreased significantly.We inspected the Fe2O3/HY for producing BzH from toluene in the catalyticperformance of this catalyst showed good catalytic activity. The optimal concentrationof Fe(NO3)3·9H2O solution in anhydrous ethanol for preparing catalyst with higheractivity was0.5mol/L and calcined at500℃,loading of iron was3.32%. And theoptimal preparation conditions for producing BzH from toluene using Fe2O3/HY are asfollows: the H2O2/toluene molar ratio3:1(toluene5ml, H2O215ml), the reactiontemperature90℃, the reaction time3h, amount of the catalyst0.3g. Under the optimalconditions we can get the about7.45%toluene conversion and90.1%selectivity ofBzH. Addition, Fe2O3/HY catalytic reagent can be reused3times, without causingcatalytic activity decreased significantly.In this paper, the synthesis of metal oxide supported catalysts has the advantages ofcheap raw materials prices, simple preparation process, easy to recycle. Process in organic solvents under mild conditions, it has high catalytic activity and does not pollutethe environment. This method of benzaldehyde preparation is simple, time-consumingshorter, high yield, high raw material utilization and has certain application value in theindustrial production of benzaldehyde.
