Eenrgy consumption of distillation which is a widely used unit operation occupy a large proportion in chemical industry.Therefore, the study on energy saving and consumption reduction of distillation process is an important subject.Experience shows that the main means of energy saving and improving energy utilization rate include process modeling, optimization techniques and advanced control.Process simulation, optimizating and prediction model of the product composition are all established in this paper,which lay a foundation for energy saving and consumption realization of the distillation operation.This article mainly includes the following:(1) A simulation model of pressure-swing distillation was established by chemical engineering software Aspen Plus to get initial results. Meanwhile, the influence of process parameters on the rectification effect was analyzed by the model sensitivity tools. Ultimately, the optimization model of minimal energy consumption of distillation process was established under the premise assuring the quality of products to obtain energy-efficient optimizing operation parameters. The established process simulation and optimization model provide significant evidence to distillation column designing and energy efficiency of the distillation process.(2)The model of vacuum distillation column and pressure distillation was established by PLS algorithm and BP neural network,which was compared with only nrural network model, the results showed that the method with PLS-ANN for distillation quality prediction could simulate the features of the pressure-swing distillation process better, and provide a foundation for designing and implementing the real-time optimization control system of the distillation process on MATLAB.(3) An experimental device of pressure-swing distillation which can be operated under the conditions of vacuum and pressure was designed. Meanwhile, the real-time monitoring and supervisory control system was constructed based on S7-300programmable logical controller (PLC) of Siemens and industrial automation configuration software-iFIX for further enhancing the safety and convenience of the distillation device operation, which ensure that the system run stably, real-time and provide a platform for the implementation of process silulation and optimum operating paramenters,and then achieving the goal of energy efficiency in the distillation system.
