People each year consume a lot of eggs, but under normal circumstances, people only use eggs in egg white and egg yolk. Eggshell and eggshell membrane is usually directly discarded. This article is based on the following three points, finishing process of comprehensive utilization of egg shell. By low pollution way, this new process is able to recycle the use of calcium in the egg shell, and at the same time in subsequent steps, the collagen could be extracted from the eggshell membrane.1.The domestic effective utilization of egg shell is low, and likely to cause environmental pollution.2.The calcium pyruvate of the organic calcium salts is a new type of diet food, which has good effect in the burning fat and has not found significant side effects. Calcium pyruvate is a calcium nutritional supplement reagents. Although its calcium content is less than20%, but after entering the human body, it is not like other calcium ions which would increased the burden of liver and kidney.3.The eggshell membrane can be extracted collagen. Collagen has many unique physiological functions and can be used in food, cosmetic and medical fields.At present, similar topics are generally first using calcinations, acid-base or microwave and other physical and chemical methods for the shell of the egg shell membrane separation, then the transformation of eggshell calcium or film recycling. Most of them only study a single substance recycling of the shell or membrane, and have complicated steps, easily to cause environmental pollution.Based on the current study status, this study proposes a novel method, using3.2mol/L of acetic acid as the shell membrane separating agent. At room temperature, first use acetic acid to dissolved eggshell inorganic, then use excess acetic acid and add5%pepsin to extract collagen in the eggshell membrane. After filtration residue, use semi permeable membrane to separate collagen. Then add pyruvic acid solution to the residual liquid, generating calcium pyruvate through acid replacement reaction. After filtrate calcium pyruvate, filtrate is rich in acetic acid. Then by adding acetic acid, it can be directly recycled to the first step of the operation. The results are as follows:calcium pyruvate yield84.7%, crude product purity96.4%and collagen crude yield0.9%.This study has the advantage of recovery of the eggshell and egg membrane simultaneously, and the high conversion rate of pyruvate, which has the highest price. And the whole process recycles the acid as much as possible, almost no external acid emissions, so the pollution of the environment is quite low, which belongs to green environmental protection technology.In the research process, by using of computer software Excel to theoretical calculate the known chemical data on the shell membrane separation and acid substitutions process, based on the theory verify and correct the study, optimize the entire process and reducing the intensity of the work.
