Quantum dots as a common and unusual nano materials, which have advantagessuch as simple preparation, special size-tunability, easy to surface modification andcharacterization, have been widely used in analytical chemistry. Along with theimproving of preparation technology and the improvement of the theory of the quantumdots, the research of quantum dots in optics also get the further development. Comparedto traditional organic dyes, quantum dots have better optical properties such as the narrowand symmetrical emission spectrum, high luminous efficiency, good light stability, etc.fluorescence analysis based on the quantum dots provides a novel, quick, simple andsensitive way for the determination of drug molecules, and show a good developmentprospect in recent years.The studies of this paper are as follows:(1) Water-soluble Mn:ZnS quantum dots were synthesized with3-mercaptopropionicacid as the stabilizer. A new approach was developed for the determination of paeonolwith quantum dots as fluorescence probes based on the fluorescence quenching method.The method showed good linearity in the concentration range of0.10~6.0mg/L with adetection limit of0.011mg/L and correlation coefficient of0.9983. The method had beenapplied to the determination of paeonol in paeonol ointment, the results were satisfactory.(2) Water-soluble Mn:ZnS quantum dots were synthesized with3-mercaptopropionicacid as the stabilizer. A new approach was developed for the determination of benzhexolhydrochloride with quantum dots as fluorescence probes based on the fluorescenceenhancing. The method showed good linearity in the concentration range of0.80~4.0mg/L with a detection limit of0.0081mg/L and correlation coefficient of0.9931. Themethod has been applied to the determination of benzhexol hydrochloride in plasma, theresults were satisfactory.(3) ZnS quantum dots were synthesized with3-mercaptopropionic acid as thestabilizer. A new approach was developed for the determination of fluconazole withquantum dots as fluorescence probes based on the fluorescence quenching method. Themethod showed good linearity in the concentration range of0.50~6.0mg/L with adetection limit of0.010mg/L and correlation coefficient of0.9956. The method had beenapplied to the determination of fluconazole in fluconazole tablets, the results weresatisfactory. (4) ZnS quantum dots were synthesized with3-mercaptopropionic acid as thestabilizer. A new approach was developed for the determination of Clenobuterolhydrochloride with quantum dots as fluorescence probes based on the fluorescencequenching method. The method showed good linearity in the concentration range of0.080~0.48mg/L with a detection limit of7.57μg/L and correlation coefficient of0.9997.The method had been applied to the determination of Clenobuterol hydrochloride inClenobuterol hydrochloride tablets, the results were satisfactory.
