In this paper, a series of perovskite oxides LaNiO3and La1-xCexNiO3by Complexmethod of citric acid were prepared. They were studied on the pattern,sizes and surfaceof particles and valance of cerium Ce and lanthanum La by means of IR,XRD,TEM,BET,XPS, etc. XRD pattern of La1-xCexNiO3showed that La1-xCexNiO3havethe structure of perovskite. TEM micrograph of sample indicated that as-preparedLa1-xCexNiO3was irregular particles with means size100nm and XPS analysis showedthe main valance of cerium Ce was+4and lanthanum La was+3. in the oxidate,thereare two kinds of oxygen atom,which include adsorptional oxygen and crystal latticeoxygen.Multipoint BET showed that the surface area data of La1-xCexNiO3is4.91m2/g.In the homemade open light catalytic reaction device, Photocatalysis experimentstested the reactiveness of La1-xCexNiO3particles as photocatalyst prepared in my lab.Sun-Light was photosource, and methyl orange,alizarin red,alizarin yellow,xylenolorange etc were organic reactive solution. It’s catalyst reactiveness was investigatedfrom dyes solution initial concentration, pH of the solution, La1-xCexNiO3amount andreacting temperature. By compared with the LaNiO3photocatalytic oxidation on abovedyes, the doping effect on photocatalytic activity of La1-xCexNiO3was discussedaccoding to the result of IR and UV spectrum. The results showed that after doping thephotocatalytic activity of LaNiO3was significantly improved.
