In recent years, fluorescent probe play an important role in biological technology, disease diagnosis, targeted drug development, and life activity mechanisms research. It has become as a powerful tool for sensing trace amounts of samples due to its high sensitivity, good selectivity, fast response time, and the advantage of direct observation. As a result, more and more attentions has been paid to this area by the scientists.Sulfur compounds play a very important role in natural and human body. Increasingly attentions have been paid to SO2, not only because it is one of the most important air pollutants, but also has important physiological functions. SO2can easily hydrated to produce sulfurous acid in the respiratory tract and subsequently forms its derivatives sulfite (SO32-) and bisulfite (HSO3-). Epidemiological studies implied that SO2exposure not only induces many respiratory responses, but also linked to lung cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and many neurological disorders, such as migraine headaches, stroke, and brain cancer. Based on the nucleophilic addition of HSO3-toward C=C bond, probe2-1was developed and used for the detection of HSO3-.Intermediate2-3was synthesized by the condensation of benzaldehyde with2,4-dimethylpyrrole, and then by Vilsmeier reaction to introduce an aldehyde to the β-position. Probe2-1was synthesized through a simple Knoevenagel condensation of the β-formayl BODIPY (2-3) with benzothiazole quaternized salts. The structures of all intermediate and products were characterized by the1HNMR,13CNMR. In DMF:PBS (3:7, v/v) buffer solution, the compound2-1showed high selectivity toward HSO3-, while other anions, reactive notrogen species (RNS), and reactive oxygen species (ROS) did not produce any interference.Biological cysteine (Cys), homocysteine (Hcy) and glutathione (GSH) plays a key role in the biological system, it linked with many diseases. So the detection of these biomolecules that contain mercapto is very important in biosystem. Based on the nucleophilic addition reaction of mercaptan to Michael receptors compound3-1was designed and synthesized. Compound3-1was synthesized form7-hydrogen-8-aldehyde-coumarin and nitromethane through a simple Knoevenagel condensation. The structures of all products were confirmed by the1HNMR、13CNMR. In HEPES buffer solution (pH=7.00.1M), compound3-1can identify these biological thiols with high selectivity, while other amino acids do not cause any interference.
