Esters are widely exisited in natural products with physiologicalactivity or pharmacological activity and non-natural molecules containthe fragment, so the synthesis of esters has been explored by manychemical workers. The formation of C-O bond occupies a certaindominant position, while it is the research interest of a lot of organicchemists to achieve the formation of C-O bond by the activation of C-Hcatalyzed by transition metals. Currently, it is also one of the mosteffective and powerful method in the development of organic chemistry. The transition metal catalyzed aryl sulfide desulfurization to build theC-C bond also has been a research focus. In the first Part, we reviewed the research progress of the formationof C-O bond by activation of C-H bond catalyzed by transition metals. In the second Part: the esterification reaction of2-arylpyridines withsodium aryl formate was explored. We used2-arylpyridine and sodiumaryl formate as the substrates to realized C-H bond activation to constructthe C-O bond, in the condition of the copper salts as the catalyst, andK2S2O8as the oxidaiton. Moreover, we investigated the reactionmechanism preliminarily. In the last Part: We investigated the arylation reaction ofdesulfurization of sodium arylalkylene catalyzed by the palladium. Thereaction is to realize the arylation of acetanilide by removaling SO2fromarylalkylene sodium, and still under being explored, yield60%currently.
