Based on health risk assessment of the population is conducted for a steel factoryarea, which the health risk assessment of contaminated sites. The purpose is that harm tohuman health in the possibal. This is the important practical significance that developmentof industrial areas planning. The author selected a steel factory area as the research area, which is a typical area inNorth, analyzed the pollution of heavy metals and Study area by the determination of heavymetals in soil. Mainly use of analysis of variation and Correlation in SPSS, spatial analysisin Sufer space distribution of heavy metal pollutions is described. And on this basis, Mainlyuse of mode of Health risk assessmentl, in order to health risk assessment of heavy metalpollution in the area. The study has the main conclusions of this paper proceeds as follows:⑴8kinds of heavy metals in soil coefficient of variation are not big. Serious pollutionwhich the rate of50%or more in Hg but As, and Co at15%. We can see that Zn-Pb,Mn-Cr, Mn-Co, Zn-As, Pb-As, Co-As, Co-Cr was highly significant betweenPositive, which according to the correlation of the heavy metals in soil.⑵Preliminary investigation of heavy metal pollution in soils to area of a steel factory.Use of pollution index method and pollutant concentration method of heavy metalpollutions is described. And consider the toxicity assessment in finally, in order to healthrisk assessment of heavy metal pollution in the area. Studies on health risk of heavy metalsin the reaesrch area showed that the selected8kinds of heavy metals different routes ofexposure under the plant in the region by the non-carcinogenic hazards in cancer risk index.Calculated in the study area by carcinogenic substances in soil exposure pathways As withall the health risk is much lower than the maximum acceptable. the carcinogenic risk andnon-carcinogenic risk are1×10-6. But not carcinogenic health risks caused by heavymetals exceeded the value of acceptable risk level1.⑶Different exposure pathways, the size of the non-carcinogenic risk is different laws, food by mouth> inhalation of vapor in soil> inhalation of particles in soil> skin bycontact.Food by mouth is the most important route of exposure in investigate. Food bymouth and through the oral route by ingestion of heavy metal exposure data consistent inthe human body.⑷In the health risk assessment, the most rigorous evaluation possible expansion of therisk value which increasing the cost of repair of governance;the average evaluation may reduce the risk value and may cause harm to human body. But the spatial analysis methodVarious risks is the most economical and safest evaluation. Therefore, risk assessment ofcontaminated sites to consider use of spatial analysis.
