At present, the hydraulic support that many large-scale coal enterprises put into use has exceeded the use of cycle number that Provide by the manufacturer of hydraulic support or will reach it. Because the costs and repair costs of the hydraulic support are high, it cost too much to unrealistic for these devices if the enterprise Updated it. It is not to protect the coal mine safety production if we continue to use it. In view of the existing situation, it is very important to make evaluation technology of the hydraulic support in scientific and reasonable and assess the remaining life In order to achieve the better value of the support.At present, studies the whole life prediction for large equipment is still in the exploration. It is no study about the forecast of the whole life of hydraulic support so far. In order to find out a feasible life prediction method on the whole life of hydraulic support prediction based on relevant information in this article. This paper analyzed the influence factors of life cycle of the hydraulic support, described the life of hydraulic support respectively from the four aspects of safety, reliability, technology and economy, it is the most important to estimate its safety life from analysis on the life prediction of the hydraulic support. At the same time, it is state detection and Analysis on the structure of hydraulic support and its overall according to testing specification, it put forward for the failure criterion of structural components of hydraulic support with reference to test standards and norms of the hydraulic support in domestic and foreign and the application of fracture mechanics theory. Finally, we can estimate the residual life of60#hydraulic support of Shengdong mining area using the DBT2*4319type, according to the calculation formula based on deterioration index that be calculated according to the existing data refer to the hydraulic support’s history on the inspection standard and detect the situation. Through further analysis, the estimation method is feasible for the prediction of residual life of hydraulic support at this stage.
