The sublevel caving without sill pillar had been applied from1960s in China.It hasbeen applied rapidly and tremendously,especially in metal ore.Because this caving methodmake ore caving-works more powerful and have some other adventures like moreefficiency, less exploiting expenditure and supply a safer working space for workers. Atpresent this method has occupied nearly70%of whole iron caving quantities innation.The trend of appling this method is increasing with the stretching down of cavinglevel.The sublevel caving without sill pillar’s characters are breaking-down rock directlycontact with capping rock and caving process occurs under the capping rock.This specialcontacting relationship makes capping rock more easily to mix into breaking-downrock.The one of remaining problems in this caving method is high loss rate.Caving under the capping rock lay indicates that capping rock lay has very importanteffection on drawing operation. Experts in nation and abroad have not yet research oncapping rock fragments’ distribution on the influence of dilution and loss.Establish themodel that fragments distribution of capping rock and breaking-down rock and researchon what influence caused by capping rock fragment distribution have influence on ore’sloss and dilution.Through the research we are sure that the relationship between cappingrock fragment distribution and ore’s loss and dilution,at last we acquire that the best waythat capping rock interface breaking-down rock can reduce ore’s loss and dilution.Thisarticle creatively apply method of fuzzy math to evaluate rock fragments distribution.Itcreatively applies the character of X-RAY can penestrate objects to detect the movementof rock particles inside.By the research in this article we acquire the relationship betweencapping rock fragments distribution and ore’s loss and dilution.This research is good forreducing ore’s loss and dilution,it is helpful to increase mine’s economic benefits and ithas a significant meaning to lead works.Through research of this article, we mainly draw a conclusion as follows:1、 The more smaller size of capping rock particles make it more easily to mix into thebreaking-down rock obviously and cause dilution.2、 The distribution that smaller particles in capping rock far from bottom and block ofcapping rock contact with breaking-down rock has benefition for drawing operation.3、 The block of breaking-down rock can’t prevent small of capping rock infiltratebreaking-down rock.But the limited gap within breaking-down rock will help to limitthe through-quantity of small particles of capping rock,when the capping rock’sdistribution of upper bigger lower smaller contact with the breaking-down rock’s distribution of upper bigger lower smaller.4、 Using the X-ray we can research the process of capping rock particles mix intobreaking-down rock.5、 Pointing out that small particles of breaking-down rock contact with capping rock isgood for preventing capping rock infiltration.6、 Using fuzzy mathematics method to evaluate the capping rock fragmentation’sdistribution.
