The meaning of Green chemistry refers to the using of non-toxic, harmless raw materials,catalysts and solvents, with high selectivity, high conversion rate, eliminating or reducing theproduction of by-products and waste to synthesize the environmentally friendly reaction, its goalis through the synthesis reaction and the new development of preparation method, unit productpollution coefficient decrease the consumption of resources and energy, advanced synthesismethod and technology of the least, from the synthetic reaction of hands, eliminate or reduce thepollution of the environment fundamentally. At present, the green chemistry has become ahotspot and frontier research in chemistry, and is one of the important direction of thedevelopment of chemistry in twenty-first Century.Organic solvent and catalyst, ionic liquid as a new green solvent and catalyst is expected toreplace the traditional, realize green material, green catalyst in green chemistry. Nearly10yearsof road in the green chemistry has come in. The ionic liquid plays an important role, in a sense,the ionic liquid is concentrated green chemistry symbol.In this paper, a novel ionic liquid was prepared by two step synthesis of traditional, namedAluminumChloride N, N-two methyl aniline hydrochloride ionic liquids. Divided from thecations are classified as quaternary ammonium ionic liquids, divided from the anionclassification for halide salts ionic liquids. The ionic liquid is also the first aromatic ionic liquids.In the process of synthesis of ionic liquids, the control variables method to explore the effects oftemperature, time and the way of heating and precursor morphology on the synthesis of ionicliquids, and summed up the optimization conditions.In order to further characterize this kind of ionic liquid, this paper studied the physical andchemical properties of the. In addition to determination of conventional density, melting point,moisture absorption, also with the ionic liquid instead of the traditional inorganic catalyst forbenzene and tert-butyl alcohol in Friedel-Crafts alkylation reaction, and explores the process incatalyzing Friedel-Crafts alkylation process, the influence of reaction temperature, reaction time,anhydrous benzene adding amount on the reaction yield. The experimental results show that theexcellent properties of the ionic liquids, with ionic liquids, and validate the document in ionicliquid catalyst instead of inorganic.
