Since April2011the State Council approved the "12th Five-Year Plan OfPrevention Heavy Metal Pollution ", Jiangxi was listed as one of the key governanceprovinces, the the Poyang Lake heavy metal pollution problems have been widespreadconcern in the government departments and the communities. In this paper, little egrethabitat in the Poyang Lake wetland was served as biological indicators, and the heavymetal content of migratory bird with its habitat which nearby the estuary. Andexplored the environmental pollution of Poyang Lake wetland under the rapideconomic development, to coordinate the regional economic development andenvironmental protection relationship, provide scientific basis to achieve ecologicaleconomic construction objectives of Poyang Lake.Based on comprehensive reference existing heavy metals research, this papercombined Little Egret concentrated region in Poyang Lake wetland, selected threetypical regions which may existed different heavy metal pollution levels that Duobaoof Du-chang county, Zhu lake of Poyang county and Qing-lan lake of Jin-xian countyas research areas. Use the Geochemical analysis method, surveyed and evaluated thePb, Cu, Zn, Cd, V, Cr, Ni, As eight Heavy Metal Content in little egret feathers,eggshells and its food, soils and water samples, and accumulated the enrichmentcoefficient of heavy metals in feathers and eggshells of little egret, and tooksignificant regional difference analysis of each sampling point. Then linked the heavymetal content of the little egret feathers and eggshell of each sampling point to thesocio-economic development indicators indices of city or county, analyzed theinfluence of the socio-economic development indices including industrial, agricultural,urban and traffic and ect. indicators of the environmental quality of the little egrethabitat sampling points. To clarify the relationship between human activities and thePoyang Lake wetland environmental quality, proposed the feasible measures toprotect Poyang Lake wetland.Though analyzed and calculated the content of heavy metals and its enrichmentcoefficient, the results showed that: the content of heavy metals in water samples ofevery sampling points were all lower than the National Institute of surface waterStandards. The samples of soils were all attained the National Institute of soilsStandards. Only the little egret’s food, samples of small fish and shrimp, except thecontent of Cu less than the standards of50mg/kg, the content of other heavy metalswere exceeded National Institute of soils Standards, indicated that that couldconstitute a heavy metal pollution. Except the enrichment coefficient of Zn in Zhulake and Qing-lan lake (reached5.64and1.26) which constitute enrichment. Thelevels of heavy metals in soils enriched in little egrets’ feathers and eggshells were atlow levels, the enrichment coefficient ranged0.01~0.63, represent they wereun-constituted enrichment. The levels of heavy metals in water samples enriched in little egrets’ feathers and eggshells were at high levels, the enrichment coefficientranged122.1~2649.76in Ma-ying lake,124.28~5135.54in Zhu lake,146.28~8006.1in Qing-lan lake. The enrichment of heavy metals little egret’s food were alsoreached high levels, the enrichment coefficient were ranged from517.16to14219.23,that demonstrated the levels of heavy metals in water migrate to little egret’s food, andthe heavy metal pollution of water is the main reason of heavy metal accumulate inlittle egret’s body.In order to research the relationship between the quality of little Egret’s habitatsand human activities in Poyang lake basin, this paper took Pearson correlationanalysis of the content of heavy metals in three sampling points with correspondingregion of up, which indicated that: the heavy metal pollution of sampling points wasnot related to the socio-economic development indicators of upstream, midstreamcities and the counties which sampling points belong to. Investigated the reasons: thecontent of heavy metals of every sampling points were large influenced by thesurroundings, for example, Zhu lake, the dam of enclosed lake separate the water ofZhu lake from the Poyang main lake. And beside the Ma-ying lake, there are severalvillages, agricultural production activities were affected the content of heavy metals inlittle Egrets and their habitats. So the content of heavy metals in Ma-ying lake werehigher than Zhu lake, and there was not existed significant correlation between thecontent of heavy metals of little Egrets and their habitats in two sampling points andthe socio-economic development indicators of corresponding upstream, midstreamcities and the counties which sampling points belong to.Though qualitative analyzed the water, sediments of Fu river Basin and thecontent of heavy metals in little Egrets and their habitats, which including the littleEgrets’ feathers, eggshells, food, soils and water, found the sources of heavy metalsamong every industries in Fu river Basin. And also got the results that the heavymetals content of every samples in Qing-lan lake were influenced by thesocio-economic development level of Fuzhou and Jinxian and the surrounding humanactivities in sampling point. The heavy metals pollution were in source of industrialenterprises, as metal smelting, processing, plating, mining and ect. Fraction ofpollution was come form the emission of agriculture and cities. They are related to theindicators of GDP, Industrial added value, the use of pesticides, agricultural chemicalfertilizer and so on, it indicated these act of social-economic development wereinfluenced the heavy metals pollution.
